Corporate Cooking Class Rome with an Agreed Menu

A corporate cooking class Rome booking is straightforward to describe to whoever has to approve it. You choose one menu for the whole group, and that menu is one of the classes we already run at Piazza Margana 22: fresh pasta and tiramisu, pizza and gelato, Roman carbonara, spritz and spaghetti, or gelato. The menu you agree on is what fixes the duration of the session, the price per person and the number of seats, and all three appear in the booking panel before anything is confirmed. The cost has two parts and nothing else: a one-off privatisation fee that closes the session to the public, and the per-person price of the chosen menu multiplied by the number of guests. The base figure shown on this page is not charged. What the fee buys is a slot in which the kitchen belongs to your group alone, with no outside guests at the counters for the whole of the session. Dietary requirements are declared before the date, so the kitchen prepares instead of improvising on the day. One point is worth putting in writing before approval: a standard menu cannot be made gluten free, not even as a single portion, so with a coeliac guest the whole group chooses one of the two gluten-free menus, available up to 30 guests; for a larger group our staff can help you organise the event. Wine is listed among the inclusions of every menu, and the spritz menu also serves Aperol. Sessions are led in English, and private sessions are also run in Italian, Spanish, French and Portuguese.

Sample menu:

Although we provide an example of how the menu might look during this cooking class in Rome, some ingredients may vary and are subject to seasonal availability. Unless otherwise specified, all ingredients may contain gluten, lactose, peanuts, tree nuts, eggs, and sulfites in the wines served.

Amazing experience! We did a private class for our honeymoon and it was THE highlight of our whole trip! Francesca taught us how to make a tonnarelli pesto and a ravioli with red sauce. She was a great teacher and made it so easy and fun. 10/10 would recommend!

We have never done a cooking class and this one was phenomenal!! Francesca was so much fun and knowledgeable. We made 2 pasta dishes and tiramisu. Absolutely delicious! It was kind of nice as it was just us and another couple so had plenty of time to ask questions and was able to get to know her. Would 100% recommendation!!

Frequently Asked Questions

Your group chooses a single menu, agreed before the date, and during your time slot the room at Piazza Margana 22 is closed to the public. Everyone really cooks, and at the end you all sit down together to eat what you've made.

The length depends on the menu you choose: for example, gelato takes about an hour and a half, carbonara about two hours, and fresh pasta and tiramisù about three hours. You'll see the open time slots for your date in the booking panel.

Yes, wine is included with every menu, and the Spritz and Spaghetti menu also includes an Aperol Spritz, for guests 18 and over only. For anyone who doesn't drink there are soft drinks and, in summer, homemade lemonade; after the meal there's espresso for anyone who wants it.

Yes: the dinner is made up of the dishes you cook together during the class, and at the end you all sit down at the table. Water, white and red wine, soft drinks and espresso, if you'd like it, are included. You'll see the open time slots for your date in the booking panel.

Yes, the class is private: during your time slot the room is closed to the public, and only your colleagues and guests are cooking at the tables. That's why the cost has two parts, a fee to reserve the room and the per-person price of the menu, and you'll see the total before you confirm. To pay by bank transfer or another method, or to get an invoice for your company, write to our staff.

Yes: if you need it, we set up a projector for presentations, and you can display your company's branded stands. We adapt the way we run the class to the purpose of the event: tell our staff about it when you book.

Yes: private classes can also be requested outside the calendar, and they can be booked as much as a year ahead. You'll see the time slots already open in the booking panel; for a different time, write to our staff.

No: the group chooses a single menu, the same for everyone, and agrees on it before the date. For anyone who doesn't eat meat or pork, we leave it out of their portion, except in the carbonara menu, where guanciale is the heart of the dish.

We're equipped for that too, but requests for online classes go through our staff. Write to us with how many of you there are and what you'd like to cook.

Yes, with a gift voucher. For now, gift vouchers can't be bought on the website: they're arranged directly with our staff.
