Team Building Cooking Class Rome for Working Groups

A team building cooking class Rome booking starts with one choice: the group picks a single menu, and that menu is a real class we run at Piazza Margana 22. Fresh pasta with tiramisu, pizza with gelato, Roman carbonara, spritz with spaghetti, or gelato. The menu you pick is what sets the length of the session, the price per person and the number of seats, and all three are shown in the booking panel before you confirm. What the container adds on top of that class is the privatisation. For your slot the kitchen is closed to the public, so the people at the counters are your colleagues and nobody else. Every guest has a station and cooks a full portion, which is the part that decides whether a team activity works: there is no back row and no audience, because a dish reaches the table only if the person making it finishes it. Then everyone sits down and eats what the group has cooked, with wine among the inclusions of every menu. The time is agreed with you, even outside the class calendar: a team can fit the session in before dinner or in the middle of an office day. The times already open for your date appear in the booking panel; for a different time, write to our staff. Dietary requirements are collected before the session; a standard menu cannot be made gluten free, not even as a single portion, so with a coeliac guest the whole team chooses one of the two gluten-free menus, available up to 30 guests, and for a larger team our staff can help you organise the event.

Although we provide an example of how the menu might look during this cooking class in Rome, some ingredients may vary and are subject to seasonal availability. Unless otherwise specified, all ingredients may contain gluten, lactose, peanuts, tree nuts, eggs, and sulfites in the wines served.

Amazing experience! We did a private class for our honeymoon and it was THE highlight of our whole trip! Francesca taught us how to make a tonnarelli pesto and a ravioli with red sauce. She was a great teacher and made it so easy and fun. 10/10 would recommend!

We have never done a cooking class and this one was phenomenal!! Francesca was so much fun and knowledgeable. We made 2 pasta dishes and tiramisu. Absolutely delicious! It was kind of nice as it was just us and another couple so had plenty of time to ask questions and was able to get to know her. Would 100% recommendation!!

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes: colleagues cook the same menu side by side, in a room reserved just for your group at Piazza Margana 22. With a single booking you can be up to 100 people; if there are more of you, write to our staff before you book.

The group chooses a single menu from our classes: fresh pasta and tiramisù, pizza and gelato, Roman carbonara, Spritz and Spaghetti, or gelato. The menu sets the length, the per-person price and the number of spots, and everything appears in the booking panel before you confirm.

It depends on the menu: for example, gelato takes about an hour and a half, carbonara about two hours, and pasta and tiramisù about three hours. So you can schedule it before dinner or in the middle of the day: you'll see the open time slots for your date in the booking panel.

Because everyone makes their own full portion: there's no audience and no back row to watch from. A dish only reaches the table if the person making it sees it through. At the end you sit down together and eat what the team has cooked.

It's not a competition: this isn't MasterChef, the goal is to learn and have fun together. It also works for people who've never cooked, because the chef follows everyone the whole time and gives the dishes the finishing touch.

Dietary needs must be shared before the date. For a vegan guest we can make, for example, vegan pasta, tiramisù, gelato or pizza, on request to our staff; we don't do elaborate vegan menus, though. For lactose, let us know before you book: our staff will confirm which adjustments are possible.

Yes, with the Spritz and Spaghetti menu: you make pasta by hand and there's an Aperol Spritz too. It's a menu for guests 18 and over only, and for anyone who doesn't drink alcohol there are soft drinks.

Choose the date and menu in the booking panel on this page: before you confirm, you'll see the length, the number of spots and the total. On the website you pay by card and with the methods shown at checkout. For bank transfer, other methods or an invoice, write to our staff; for other questions you can also ask in the chat.

Our chefs are all Italian, qualified and trained in cooking. If you've already met one of our chefs and would like to cook with them again, ask when you book: we'll do our best, depending on their availability.

Yes, private classes allow more freedom: feel free to photograph yourselves, your colleagues and your dishes. If you'd like to film the chefs or the staff, ask for their consent first.
